OG CS:GO bench ISSAA and enter a rebuilding phase
Two vacated slots.
Since OG's CS:GO invasion, the former roster didn't see any changes until lately. This is the second bench the organisation has announced in recent times - before NBK and now Issa “ISSAA” Murad.
The statement reads that OG and ISSA part ways on "mutual decision" based on the "early exit of the ESL Pro League Season 13". OG finished 2-3 and in fourth place of Group A.
The organisation has moved into a "rebuilding phase" and will hold tryouts to fill the two vacated positions before the next event, which is a month away.
“After evaluation over time, it became clear to both parts that for ISSAA to flourish and OG to keep improving, changes were needed and these paths had to continue separately. I’m a bit sad we couldn’t give ISSAA the optimal situation to bang heads, since he has proven throughout his career that he is a player capable of challenging the very best on the server. We are going to miss ISSAA and everyone in OG wish him nothing but the best moving forward,” said coach Casper “ruggah” Due in the release.
In the meantime, ISSAA has said that he will be updating what's next for him in the next few days.
